My address is  Sager Road, Chelsea, MI 48118.  I would like a antenna recommendation.  I will tell
you my current set up.  I have a roof mounted antenna (it is large directional but I do not know brand or
model number) with a variable gain preamp with FM trap from Radio Shack and a rotor.  The mast of the
antenna is grounded by itself (not with house electrical ground rod) on a more direct route.  The coax
(and rotor cable) runs into the house via a vent on the roof and down (with no antenna discharge unit) to
my basement (ranch style house) which is where the power source for the preamp is.  After the preamp
power source, there is a distribution amplifier with a FM trap.  The distribution amp has 2 outputs.  One
goes to my main HDTV and the other goes to a splitter for 2 other (currently analog) TVs.  When I do the
antenna setup on my HDTV, I get many channels (digital and analog).  When I surf threw the channels,
most of the channels are available and viewable.  Typically in only a couple of minutes, most of the
digital channels do not come in or have too much noise to watch the channel and I go to the analog
channel.  I am not against a whole new system, but I am concerned if I buy a new system I will have
similar results.  I think most of the connections have the screw on coax connections.  Can you
recommend anything to try with my current setup as well as a new antenna recommendation?  Thank
You.

Hello,

What I would first try is replacing all of the screw on connectors, That is the most likely thing that it could
be. The other thing that I would try is bypassing the distribution amp because it might be overloading. If
that doesn't solve it about the only other thing that you can do is go with a new system. The new system
that I would go with in that location is the HBU22 system. That includes: the amp, the antenna, the wire,
the rotor, the coax, the rotor wire, and the mount. All of which is installed.  That system also comes with
a one year warranty on everything. If I can help you with anything else just let me know. Have a good day.

I want to get an antenna for my mother in Muskegon, MI at  Oriole, 49442.  Single story home with high
trees, residential.  She has Dish.  What do you recommend?

Thanks.
Diane

I looked at all of the signals on Antenna Web and a lot of the Grand Rapids stations were weak. So i
would go with our 7084 system. That is the best system that we have. That would get her very good
reception.  This includes: the antenna, the amp, the coax cable, the rotor wire, the mount, all of the
fasteners.   This also comes with a one year warranty on parts and labor. If you have any other
questions just ask. Thank you and have a great day.

Hi,
We live in Adrian, Michigan.  We currently have an antenna (large) mounted on a tower.  The rotor
wires (cables) are broken from the motor up at the top somewhere.  We are unable to turn antenna to
get wanted channels in clearer.  Can this be fixed or should we get a new system.  Thanks,  Wendy

Hello,
Well, if the rest of the system is in good condition then I would just run new wire but if the antenna is
starting to fall apart I would go with a whole new system. If I can help you in any other way just let me
know.

I live on a hill, in a tall 2 story old farmhouse with a round antenna. I get decent reception, but would
like to upgrade to receive digital and run coaxial cable to all my TVs. If I get a good enough picture I'd
like to cancel my Dish Network. Do you do installation in the Belding MI area?

Hello,

Yes I install in the Belding area. I looked up your reception data and I would go with a 7082 complete
system. This is one of our best systems. This system comes with everything you need. It comes with:
7082 antenna, 9521 rotor, the mount, the rotor wire, the coax cable, and its all installed.  I promise you
will get great reception. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
